Julie Rumsey is a printmaker who specialises in hand-pulled Collagraph prints – a technique which allows for her indulgence in colour, texture & pattern – often with a dash of humour! Much of her inspiration comes from naïve artefacts found in museums, reinvented to give a contemporary twist.

Having worked for many years as a shoe designer, after graduating from De Montfort University with a BA Hons (1st) in Fashion & Textiles, she now uses the skills accumulated as a commercial designer and applies them to printmaking.

Her work can also be seen in local galleries, Bucks Open Studios, private fairs and the ‘Windsor Emporium’.
