I like nothing better than playing with paper, scissors and glue at my kitchen table in Marlow. I moved away from traditional watercolour work in 2006 and began to explore mixed media techniques and collage - and haven't looked back. My main source of inspiration is the British coast, especially the stretch of the east coast from Aldeburgh to Southwold. My riverside town of Marlow and neighbouring Henley-on-Thames also feature in my work.
I am forever looking for interesting things that can be repurposed or upcycled in my work and often have bits of fishing net, feathers or other random ephemera that have been picked up on walks in my pocket. What you think you may see in my work on first glance may not be what it really is when you get close up - the girls dresses in the picture above for example are Kath Kidston tissues!
I am an active member of Marlow Art and Crafts Society and have a selection of work on display at Emerald Gallery in Chalfont St Giles.
