Chris Inder Ceramics
A distinctive collection of handmade pieces for the table and home
My involvement with ceramics reflects my love of food; growing, preparing, cooking and sharing, I enjoy them all!
A recently completed BA in ceramics and glass provided the opportunity to gain an insight into and a working knowledge of some of the many processes and techniques associated with, and used in, the production of ceramics. I enjoyed the majority of these and use several in my work. Ultimately my research focused on the history of dining and this informs both form and pattern.
The work is made in porcelain, decorated with a transfer technique and glazed and fired to suit its purpose.
I enjoy the challenge of designing and making and strive to create pieces that are tactile and beautiful as well as functional.
