“Small and pretty” are my watchwords and my aim is to make you smile with pleasure at my little covered notebooks and knitted corsages.
I love to transform a piece of pure white cotton into something that is both beautiful and useful. My notebooks have hand dyed decorative covers that are inspired by natural and abstract forms. The unpredictability of the dyeing process means that each piece is unique and suggests its own form of embellishment be it with stitch, stamping or screen-printing. Texture plays an important part in my work too which also includes delicate corsages knitted with a combination of wire and silk yarn.
